Cleve first showed a Western Pleasure horse in 1983 under the guidance of Marty Johnson and Jerry Stanford, and has since gone on to train and produce multiple World Champions, Reserve World Champions and Congress Champions in AQHA, APHA, APHC and NSBA.  Cleve has also been inducted into the NSBA Hall of Fame.

He has sinced trained and produced 17 AQHA World Champions and Reserve World Champions.

Cleve’s training facility is located in Burleson, Texas, where he resides with his wife, Jana. Cleve has a daughter Jennifer, son Tyler and a new grandson Ethan.
